Tips For Looking After a Friend's Dog During The Christmas Holidays [Q&A]

It's that time of the year for family getaways, and if your dog can't join in, a friend may have volunteered to look after the pooch.

• Things to consider before taking on the responsibility are:
• Making sure the dog gets along with the other dogs it's starting with or is good with the rest of the family.
• That there is adequate space for the dog or extra dogs and the property is secure.
• Regular exercise & training.
• Does the dog have separation anxiety/distress?
• Feeding guidelines.
• Does the dog have medical issues or requires meds?
