• A good dog trainer knows the next 10-15 moves in what they are trying to achieve with their dog. This is the concept of "beginning with the end in mind".
• Fundamentals may seem "boring" sometimes, but they are all setups for the next stages of training.
• Excellence is mastery of the basics!
• Be patient with yourself, your dog, and know the desired outcome at the start.
• It's not about "fixing" anything, but rather about improving everything piece by piece.
