Ep127 - You Can Lead A Horse To Water (But You Can’t Make It Drink)

• This is an old saying which refers to the fact that people can ultimately never be forced to actually follow through with anything they are recommended to do, even if they asked for the advice in the first place.
• As professional dog trainers we are often asked by pet owners to come in and give our paid opinions on a wide range of behavioural topics relating to dogs.
• We always try to put our clients' and their dogs' best interests at the forefront when we are giving advice.
• However this doesn't guarantee the advice will be received as was intentioned, nor that the client will follow through with the training after the dog trainer has left.
• Luke had noticed a few of his old clients using equipment and methodologies that he'd never recommended, which prompted this discussion.
